Ingredients
1 cup milk (whole or 2%)2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (or 1 tablespoon cocoa powder + 1 tablespoon sugar)2 tablespoons cherry syrup (Torani-style)1 shot espresso (or 1/3 cup strong brewed coffee)1 teaspoon vanilla extract Whipped cream, for topping Extra chocolate syrup, for drizzling 1 maraschino cherry, optional
Instructions
Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.
Stir in the chocolate syrup and cherry syrup until fully melted and smooth.
Add the vanilla extract and stir again.
Brew one fresh shot of espresso (or use strong coffee).
Pour the espresso into a mug.
Pour the warm cherry-chocolate milk mixture over the coffee and stir to combine.
Top with whipped cream, an extra drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a cherry if desired.
How to Serve
Serve warm in a mug with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate. Add a maraschino cherry on top for a festive touch. It pairs perfectly with cookies, pastries, or your favorite holiday dessert.
Tips
For a richer mocha, use half-and-half instead of milk. To intensify the cherry flavor, add an extra teaspoon of cherry syrup or muddle a few maraschino cherries into the bottom of the mug. If you prefer a frothy drink, use a handheld frother before pouring the milk mixture into the coffee. Make it iced by pouring the mixture over ice and using cold milk instead of heated milk.
